During his campaign, Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez pledged to the residents of Miami-Dade County that he would settle for nothing less than complete transparency and accountability countywide. In light of his promise, Mayor Gimenez has launched the new Financial Transparency website.

County Commission District boundaries will be updated based on 2010 Census data. Public meetings will be held to provide information about the local redistricting process and receive input from the public.
